You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Chief Technology Office (00T) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $156,755).
Duties
You will serve at the primary Scientific and Technical Information Officer (STINFO) for the command, coordinating our internal processes for review with the technical departments and be responsible for training Release Competent Authorities (RCAs).
You will prepare metrics on the processes and provide improvements for efficient and effective control through the implementation of updated command policy.
You will develop a training plan and perform regular training for RCAs across the command to ensure adequate technical review of all released information.
You will serve as the primary POC for the Command Data Exchange Agreements (DEAs) with foreign ally nations and work to coordinate project agreements and collaboration between NSWC IHD and ally nations.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent grade level) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing processes and identifying process improvement strategies for coordination and management of sensitive, unclassified, or classified information.
