You will serve as a SUPERVISORY UTILITIES BRANCH MANAGER in the PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT UEM of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD WASH.
Duties
You will evaluate work performance of the division.
You will review completed work for timeliness and accuracy.
You will function as Utilities Systems Manager for projects completed either in-house or by Architect Engineering (A/E) firms.
You will develop the scope of work that provides guidance that others will be required to follow.
You will resolve any conflicting issues during design and construction.

- This position may be subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning work to be accomplished of a division via subordinate supervisors, setting and adjusting short term priorities, and approving schedules for completion of work; 2) Reviewing work schedules on a daily, weekly, monthly, or project basis; 3) Conducting and directing various studies, investigations, and evaluation of the utilities systems and determining capabilities and deficiencies; 4) Analyzing efficiency and effectiveness of operations; 5) Evaluating and monitoring short and long-range planning and projects involving alterations, improvements, expansion, maintenance and repair of facilities and utilities systems; 6) Providing technical direction for the timely correction of utility safety related issues and for issues involving operations and maintenance procedures/standards for equipment, plants and systems; and 7) Developing and forecasting production, customer demand, consumption quantities, and cost for all utility commodities.
