You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Business Operations Office of BUREAU OF NAVAL PERSONNEL.
Duties
You will consult on process improvement functions (e.g., Lean Six Sigma [LSS] initiatives) to reinforce proper execution.
You will identify productivity efficiencies and processes through the use of Lean Six Sigma or other methodology.
You will collaborate with other Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Black or Green Belts in other business areas to improve end-to-end processes across an
organization.
You will manage the commands pipeline/portfolio of potential CPI/LSS solutions and/or pilots to ensure the highest impact and strategically important projects are prioritized and implemented.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using quantitative and qualitative methods and techniques to assess and improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of processes and programs; 2) Preparing and advising on short and long-term strategic planning, determining project goals, and evaluating accomplishments; 3) Researching and analyzing data and information to develop solutions to accomplish organizational strategy and identify, evaluate, improve and accelerate service quality and productivity; 4) Promoting a culture of continuous process improvement by developing new approaches to determine workload, productivity factors, and performance measurement criteria; and 5) Providing training and counseling to project facilitators and event participants.
