About the Position: Serve as a Lead IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS) for the Army Contracting Command-Redstone Arsenal. ACC-RSA is the largest contacting center in the U.S. Army with more than 900 contracting and acquisition professionals.

Duties

Serve as advisor to the Combined Staff Technical Director, Army Contracting Command – Redstone Arsenal staff in information technology management issues. Coordinate with current and potential stakeholders on the Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Information Management (C4IM) services, policies, standards, architectures, programs. Primary staff expert for integrating new technology for automation/telecommunications systems or equipment. Provide technical expertise in implementing assigned information management-related programs and projects. Leads a team of civilian personnel and contractors.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Business travel required 10% of the time.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.
• This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) subject to applicant testing and random drug testing. Tentatively selected applicants will be required to sign DA Form 5019 requiring participation in random drug testing.
• This position has been designated Mission Essential. Incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations in the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations.
• Incumbent required to obtain within baseline and computing environment certifications in accordance with DoD 8570.1: Information Assurance Technician Level 2 certification and Information Assurance Manager Level 1 certification.
