Duties
You will conduct market research, provide recommendations, analyze data, evaluate and interpret findings, develop constructive conclusions and recommendations.
You will maintain vendor relations, obtain quotes, purchase material, monitor delivery times and accuracy of orders, and provide vendor feedback.
You will utilize SIMS (Shop Information Management System) Oracle database to order and procure items and conduct program management roles including schedules, costs, deliverables, etc.
You will prepare correspondence, schedule appointments and arrange meetings.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
DG-02: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of general experience at or equivalent to the DG-01 pay band or GS-01-03 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. General experience must demonstrate the following: Progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.
DG-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DG-02 pay band or GS-04/05 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing excellent customer service while managing a high volume of work; 2) Conducting research and analyzing data; and 3) Utilizing automated systems/databases to obtain information regarding procurement.

Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
For DG-02 (GS-4/5): 2 years above high school
For DG-03 (GS-5/6): 4 years above high school
Successfully completed education above the high school level in any field for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite is creditable at grades GS-3 through GS-5.
This education must have been obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. One year of full-time academic study is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in a college or university, or at least 20 hours of classroom instruction per week for approximately 36 weeks in a business, secretarial, or technical school.
