This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for AcqDemo Business & Technical Management Professional Career Path (NH) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: This is a TERM position NTE 5 years, may not be made permanent.
Duties
As the Integrated Logistics Support Manager (ILSM) for assigned weapon system, the incumbent is responsible for all Product Support activities required at each milestone of the acquisition process.
Manage the implementation and execution of approved product support strategy, fielding, materiel integration, and product support arrangements.
Serve as the primary PM agent responsible for development, review, verification, validation and authentication of technical manuals (TM), and all supporting products to include Maintenance Allocation Charts (MAC).
Identify, develop and provide Government comments for Contract Deliverable Requirements Lists (CDRL) supporting in support of those efforts.
The primary negotiator for the weapon system’s transition to sustainment with the Communications Electronics Command (CECOM).
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. A Background investigation may be required.
- This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics certification within 36 months as of entrance on duty.
- Position requires Temporary Duty (TDY)/Business travel up to 25% of the time.
- A one year TERM trial probationary is required.
- This position requires an Official Passport with no travel restrictions, or incumbent must be able to obtain a passport with no travel restrictions.
- Must be willing and able to travel on military and commercial aircraft.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: To qualify, your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which prepared you to do the work in this position. Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Developing Life Cycle Support Plans (LCSP); 2) Preparing and/or processing of acquisition logistics milestone package documentation and processes, to include development of Basis of Issue Plan Feeder (BOIPFD), Type Classification, or the various Materiel Release Packages.; and 3) Reviewing contract deliverables to include any of the following, Level of Repair Analysis, Source of Repairs Analysis, or Depot Source of Repair analysis.
