Duties
Serves as the Deputy Director for the Agency Synchronization Operations Center (ASOC).
Principal for carefully researched, integrated, and coordinated information for senior staff which impacts overall DLA strategies which extend across senior officials with the Office of the Secretary of Defense, customers, and DLA employees.
Responsible for directing and supervising the joint staff of military officers and representatives, senior civilians, senior enlisted, and representatives across DLA’s Major Subordinate Commands and staff sections.
Monitors, integrates, synchronizes, and synthesizes DLA operations data to provide readiness and impact statements in support of critical and time-sensitive strategic, operational, and tactical customer matters.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Logistics Management Officer, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-15 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Synchronize current, future and contingency operations across tactical, operational and strategic levels.
Present critical and sensitive information that enables leadership decisions.
Served in key leadership roles collaborating across a multifaceted organization.
Lead an organizational level change initiative by sharing information, communicating the need for change, and engaging the team in adapting to new requirements, policies, systems, structures, etc.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
