About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located with GISA CONUS at Fort Liberty, NC.
Duties
Accomplishes a broad range of administrative management work, with principal responsibilities in the administrative and budget functions.
Serves as Customer Service Representative (CSR) for the Defense Civilian Pay System (DCPS), and the Agency Program Coordinator (APC) for the government travel card program.
Serves as Management Support Assistant for one of the regional Ground Intelligence Support Activities (GISA) Portfolio Management Branch Chiefs.
Serves as the GISA Point of Contact for all civilian personnel activities including time and attendance data, training, recruiting, pay and medical benefit at the Division level.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis.
