You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the ACQUISTION SUPPORT AND ANALYSIS DIVISION, COST AND ACQUISITION ANALYSIS DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.
Duties
You will plan, coordinate, and carry out the successive steps in fact-finding and analysis of issues necessary to complete each phase of assigned projects.
You will complete work products are reviewed for consistency of facts and figures, choice of appropriate analytical methods, and practicality of recommendations.
You will resolve work problems work problems in accordance with the body of accepted office policies, applicable precedents, organizational concepts, management theory, and occupational training.
Requirements

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Building relationships with internal and external groups; 2) Monitoring projects and outcomes, complying with guidance and regulations, and able to work effectively in a team environment; 3) Analyzing and forecasting issues and developing solutions through critical thinking and network of resources; 4) Identifying and documenting issues with processes, requirements, projects, and project performance, and making recommendations on the appropriate path forward and / or corrective action.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
