About the Position: This position is located at the at the US ARMY 1ST SPECIAL FORCES COMMAND OFFICE OF THE COMMANDING GENERAL FORT LIBERTY, NC.

Duties

Serves as Management Analyst for the 1st SFC(A)Secretary General Staff (SGS) and the Command Group with full responsibility for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and managing all administrative actions, programs, and support services. Directs and coordinates all administrative functions within the SGS and Command Group. Ensures subordinate staff comply with all applicable policies and procedures. Prepares and submit administrative reports and documentation and updates to Chief of Staff and Assistant Chief of Staff, and SGS.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • TDY may be required 10% of the time.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience in serving as a Staff Action specialists and Advisor on all staff processing actions for a Military Command. Experience in developing, managing and recommending staff actions, programs procedures and policies in accordance with directives and guidance. Experience in briefing and advising leadership and staff in applying established policies, guidance, and regulations and advising the command on effective use of available manpower authorizations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Oral CommunicationPlanning and EvaluatingTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
