This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties

You will prepare requests for the procurement of services, supplies, and equipment. You will determine the requirement, prepare the statement of work or specifications, as necessary, and recommend the type of contract and milestones and procurement plan. You will prepare justifications for sole source and other required clearances and prepare documentation. You will draft final contract including specifications, packing and shipping requirements, inspection instructions, and all other special and standard clauses. You will assist with the administration of contracts, including performance of termination action until final delivery and payments are completed and the contract is closed and retired. You will draft termination notices for default or convenience, when required.

• Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.

Qualifications

GS-11: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience assisting with planning, developing, and managing contract negotiations; and following acquisition regulations and policies. GS-09: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience conducting procurement planning, developing, and managing contract negotiations; applying and following acquisition regulations and policies; and assisting with the administration of contracts for the procurement of supplies and services. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
