You will serve as a Management Analyst in the Marine and Family Programs Diviion (MF), Manpower and Reserve Affairs (M&RA) of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will assist in managing and maintaining the Civilian Database on all employee/billet information so financial personnel can track, analyze labor costs, and prepare annual budget.
You will conduct position management studies and analyses of civilian positions, to address, track, and provide resolution for all personnel and pay issues for MF civilian personnel.
You will assist in coordinating all annual performance based awards and reports for submission through the chain of command.
You will coordinate with divisions within MF on staffing processes and procedures, preparing personnel consolidated reports,. and presenting periodic personnel briefings.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate most or all of the following duties: 1.) Analyzing and evaluating civilian manpower management, budgeting, travel and transportation coordination, correspondence, and administrative procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness and make recommendation for new procedures; 2.) Assisting the supervisor to oversee and provide administrative support; 3.) Conducting position management studies and analyzing civilian positions; and 4.) Developing and assisting in the development of policies such as staffing and regulation, time and attendance and awards.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
