About the Position: As a Management Analyst for a Medical Treatment Facility (MTF), the role involves overseeing all hiring actions and updating tracking figures within the Defense Medical Human Resources System - Internet (DMHRSi).

Duties

Facilitate effective communication with relevant stakeholders to streamline hiring processes and resolve discrepancies promptly. Compiles and prepares a range of reports, including ad hoc queries, for local and unit-level use. Evaluates encumbered employee positions (double-slotted roles) to ascertain appropriateness and identify vacant positions for potential reassignment. Ascertains data quality, analyzes reports, correlates relevant data, and formulates recommendations for command and leadership to enable effective data-driven decision-making.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes utilizing automated cost accounting and record-keeping systems such as Defense Medical Human Resource System internet (DMHRSi) or Medical Expense and Performance Reporting System (MEPRS); assisting with manpower issues by gathering, reviewing data for studies and surveys to identify trends and accuracy of healthcare operations; utilizing office automation software to draft reports, create spreadsheets, graphs, and presentations for departments within the organization; assisting with training to staff on system utilization within various departments. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Information Management, Business Analysis, Statistics. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Computer SkillsManages and Organizes InformationReading ComprehensionTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
