About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Fort Eisenhower, Georgia.
Duties
Facilitates organizational development through the execution of force management processes and publication of the command's authorization documents.
Interprets new and revised policies and procedures received from DA, and formulates implementation strategies, policies, and instructional guidance for implementation throughout the command.
Assists other staff elements, Army Commands, and participates in ad hoc study groups to analyze or resolve major force structure issues such as operational suitability, affordability, and supportability.
Prepares briefs and executive level correspondence for the ARCYBER G-7 and senior leaders.
Assesses reorganization proposals and recommends subsequent actions.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Must undergo and successfully complete an initial and periodic Counter-Intelligence Polygraph (CI Poly) examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI).
- Must pass an initial and periodic urinalysis screening for illegal drug use.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain access to NSA and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) accredited facilities and networks. [Military Affairs Desk Officer (MADO) Security In-Processing (SIP) process.]
- Position requires approximately 20% TDY.
- This is a DoD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Appointment to this position does not confer competitive status.
- Prior to appointment applicants are required to sign a statement indicating they understand the conditions of employment or assignment to the position and acknowledge the consequences of failing to meet and maintain those required conditions.
- Must be able to obtain and retain a Top Secret Security Clearance.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe One year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by A. Leads the Command's participation in the Total Army analysis, planning processes and prepares 3-Star Command-level products for submission to Headquarters Department of the Army. B. Creates/develops organizational design and concept documents, authorization documents, change management plans and validates and documents organizational equipment. C. Executes the military decision-making process, leads functional teams to develop force structure solutions, and drafts executive level correspondence for the command.
