About the Position: This position is located at Fort Eisenhower, GA. The incumbent will serve as a staff analyst to plan, develop, and monitor implementation of plans, policies, procedures, and guidance for Garrison to assist with productivity, quality management, and organization improvements.
Duties
Plan, develop, and monitor the implementation of ideas, procedures, processes, methods or approaches in areas of productivity, quality management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Implement and monitor budgetary or accounting policies and systems.
Recommend adjustments to policies, programs, projects and studies to resolve problems and to improve operations and efficiencies in major core processes and concepts of business systems management and leadership.
Ensure strategic planning assessments adequately and effectively address and measure key customer and operational requirements for on-going process improvements.
Develop and manage customer feedback initiatives and systems to document and evaluate results of productivity and quality management programs and installation improvement activities.
Perform staff actions/analyses and coordination actions related to all aspects of productivity, quality management, and continuous improvement management.
Provide continuous improvement advisory service to garrison staff concerning major issues, program goals and objectives, work processes and administrative procedures.
Ensure that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products and services.
Maintain contact and liaison with community, governmental, scientific, academic, and/or business institutions on matters relating to assigned programs.

Qualifications

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) conducting studies and/or surveys to evaluate the productivity, effectiveness, and/or efficiency of program operations and/or administrative support activities; 2) identifying processes, procedures, and/or methods to improve the productivity, effectiveness, and/or efficiency of administrative support or program operations; 3) providing guidance to personnel on matters related to productivity, quality management, and/or continuous improvement initiatives; and 4) leading projects and/or team members. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
