About the Position: Serve as an Administrative Support Assistant to the Chief of Plant Section in an organization with responsibility for coordinating and performing a wide variety of support services essential to the orderly and efficient accomplishment of the work of the organization.
Duties
Serve as the Training Coordinator for the organization.
Provide general information and guidance to personnel regarding timekeeping and travel documents.
Serve as the records management coordinator for the organization.
Provide new employee orientation.
Prepare correspondence for managers in the organization.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must possess and maintain a valid civilian driver's license.
- Temporary Duty Travel up to 5% may be required.

Specialized Experience for GS-6 position: One year of specialized experience which includes: the ability to accurately manage records in accordance with established policies and regulations. Experience maintaining an inventory of supplies for an organization.

Specialized Experience for GS-7 position: One year of specialized experience which includes: experience in providing administrative office support (document creation and routing, calendar management, email) AND experience in personnel actions or use of electronic financial management systems.

This position requires a typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute (WPM) based on a 5 minute sample with 3 or fewer errors.
