About the Position: The Wilmington District provides quality, professional and comprehensive engineering, construction and other value-added services to our civilian, military and interagency stakeholders, customers and partners across the state of North Carolina and select regions of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Duties

Composes routine correspondence to include administrative matters, letters of acknowledgment, general office policies, acceptance of invitations, and cancellation of conferences. Uses word processing and other types of software to process and produce a wide range of documents, some of which require complex formats, in support of the office automation functions. Manages the Branch Chief's and subordinate Supervisors' calendars and coordinates the calendars with Executive Office requirements, senior leader calendars, and other mission events. Provides support for the development and monitoring of the Branch training plan. Prepares Purchase Request and Commitment (PR and C) forms for Branch training requests .

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must possess a valid state drivers license.
  • Applicant must be a qualified typist of 40 WPM.
