This position is located in the Office of Nuclear Security and Incident Response, Division of Physical and Cybersecurity Policy.The supervisor is Anthony Bowers.The position is non-Bargaining Unit.This position is subject to Confidential Financial Disclosure and security ownership restriction reporting requirements.
Duties
As an integral member of the Division’s leadership team, the Technical Assistant supports the accomplishment of the Division’s mission through communication and coordination on the policy, programmatic, and administrative activities of the Division.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level (GG-13) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
1. Demonstrated knowledge of the functional activities and primary interfaces of the agency sufficient to carry out the duties described above.
2. Demonstrated ability to communicate information, ideas, and advice in a clear, concise, and logical manner, both orally and in writing, for a variety of complex matters and stakeholder audiences.
3. Demonstrated analytical ability sufficient to plan, organize and perform a variety of program and administrative management functions and activities involving competing priorities and deadlines.
4. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with other division or office representatives in building consensus.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as: demonstrated experience providing support, advice, and guidance on program or policy planning, strategic planning, or performance management; analyzing and evaluating issues to manage and advance projects; and coordinating with other organizations (internal or external) to accomplish a range of activities, such as program management, resource assessment, scheduling, program evaluation, and policy development.
