Duties
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As a Senior Advisor (DEIA), you will use your knowledge of and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by:
Serving as senior advisor and major point of contact regarding SAMHSA's Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) programs and projects.
Serving as senior advisor and subject matter expert to the Office of Management, Technology and Operations (OMTO) Division Director with respect to policies, plans, procedures, and regulations pertaining to DEIA projects, initiatives and actions including outreach, targeted recruitment goals, student employment and intern programs.
Collaborating with internal programs to ensure that SAMHSA's DEIA values, goals and priorities are incorporated into programmatic and policy decisions.
Managing meetings related to DEIA programs and projects and provides guidance and support to stakeholders.

Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Minimum Qualifications: You must have one-year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service performing at least three (3)of the following:
Developing and/or implementing studies related to diversity of the workforce and make recommendations to senior management in regards to the findings of these studies.
Analyzing accountability metrics and identifying deficiencies to detect trends in human resource recruitment.
Preparing comprehensive reports of workforce diversity evaluations which lead to training activities for staff.
Advising senior leadership on effective DEIA strategies, programs or projects that align with the goals, values and/or priorities of the organization.
