You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (CUSTSPT) in the NLSC.

Duties

You will ensure the organization's strategic plans, mission, vision, and values are communicated to other local IT professionals. You will execute duties related to IT adjustments, modifications, and revisions to meet objectives. You will use a ticketing system to plan and execute lifecycle replacements of IT hardware across the geographic area of responsibility. You will provide technical assistance to customers to minimize disruptions of computer operations, troubleshooting, escalation, and tracking of information technology problems. You will proactively identify, research, and propose opportunities to employ technical solutions to drive efficiency and improve mission accomplishment.

  • This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code All-Source Analyst, proficiency level Basic the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing advice and guidance on a wide range of complex IT issues to management and personnel; 2) Conducting analyses and recommend resolution of complex issues affecting the specialty area; 3) Utilizing applications, operating systems, protocols, and equipment used in customer organizations and methods and practices for troubleshooting, recovering adjusting modifying and improving IT systems; and 4) Communicating effectively and collaboratively while with multiple chains of command to resolve IT issues. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
