You will serve as an Information Technology (IT) Project Manager in the Corporate Operations, Director, Information Management and Security of PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICE SHIPS.
Duties
You will be supporting strategic planning activities, IT operational customer support services, applications management, and cybersecurity.
You will ensure compliance with Clinger-Cohen Act requirements, overseeing System Assessment and Authorization efforts for the enterprise, and managing cyber workforce competency standards.
You will support the development and oversight of cybersecurity programs aimed at protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of TEAM SHIPS systems, networks, and data.
You will contribute to the implementation and management of IT security initiatives in response to security issues, alerts, and directives.
You will assist in planning, coordinating, and managing the installation, testing, and maintenance of information technologies.
You will evaluate off-the-shelf software programs for their suitability compared to customized applications.
You will assist in oversight of contractor performance and system resources, ensuring performance, capacity, availability, compliance, and security.
You will represent TEAM SHIPS in interactions with Navy Marine Corps Internet (NMCI) or similar contractors.
You will contribute to financial and contract management processes, including reviewing purchase requirements and certifying invoices.
You will analyze user requirements, system documentation, and operational conditions to ensure mission needs are met.

- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 411, proficiency level Basic the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing Information Technology (IT) project management and information security initiatives in response to routine and critical IT security issues throughout an organization. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
