Joining the Secret Service, Office of Security, Security Programs Division will allow you to support the U.S. Secret Service Enterprise, its protective mission, and its investigation mission by coordinating implementation and oversight of security policies, programs, and standards to protect and safeguard U.S. Secret Service personnel, property, facilities, and information, and to oversee and support emergency preparedness (EP), response planning, and continuity of operations (COOP).

Qualifications
To be considered qualified for this position you must meet the following qualification requirements for the respective grade level in which you are applying.
You qualify for the GS - 13level (starting salary $90,025.00) if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level performing duties such as:
Monitoring program implementation and practices to assure the appropriate handling and safeguarding of classified and sensitive information for which protection and accountability are required by regulations; AND
Analyzing local administrative, information, physical security, EP and COOP programs, to include providing advice and guidance to stakeholders in resolving routine security problems/issues; AND
Conducting research, providing analysis, and presenting findings and recommendations on subjects applicable to local administrative, information, physical security, EP and COOP programs.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
