About the Position: This is a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist position located with the Army Training Support Center at Fort Eustis, Virginia.
This position is eligible for regular and recurring telework - as determined by the agency policy.
Duties
Serves as the Chief of the Logistics Office with responsibility for the formulation of policy and procedures for ATSC involving acquisition operations, facilities management, property accountability, safety, and environmental protection programs.
Develops, coordinates ATSC policies, and executes programs on safety, physical security, crime prevention, hazardous material, key control, fire prevention, energy management, and transportation.
Manages and coordinates the acquisition, receipt, formal record keeping, accountability, and worldwide shipping of all Army Training Support Center (ATSC) Mission Property.
Uses government purchase card to purchase supplies, equipment, and services in accordance with regulations and local procedures.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- SECRET CLEARANCE: Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
- Temporary Duty Travel (TDY): This position requires that the employee occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 5% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) developing policy and procedures for acquisition operations, facilities management, property accountability, safety, and environmental protection programs; 2) managing and coordinating the acquisition, receipt, formal record keeping, accountability, and worldwide shipping of property; AND 3) utilizing organizational resources to purchase supplies, equipment, and services in accordance with regulations and procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
