You will serve as a Supervisory Inventory Management Specialist of NAVSUP AMMO LOG CENT MECH.
Duties
You will develop contingency plans for positioning of replacement weapons, develops strategies and engages in advance planning and coordination to ensure cost effective movement
You will have multiple supervisory duties
You will have an expert knowledge of Ordnance Information System-Wholesale (OIS-W) and Ordnance Information System- Retail (OIS-R) including sources of data, data flows and decision processes.
You will have a thorough knowledge of loading and assembly procedure in order to manage the storage and movement of ordnance.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates a mastery knowledge of the principles and requirements of ordnance technical functions related to inventory management of materials, supply chain management, and assessment techniques related to ordnance stockpile to include non-nuclear ordnance experience at a supervisory or leadership level. I have a mastery knowledge of logistics and inventory management in developing contingency plans for positioning of weapons, developing strategies, and in engaging in advance planning.Expert knowledge of the Ordnance Information System-Wholesale (OIS-W) and Ordnance Information System-Retail (OIS-R), including sources of data, data flows and decision processes and the ability to analyze outputs of other information systems.- Knowledge of Navy and DOD ordnance organizational relationships and responsibilities is required in order to coordinate cost effective movement of ordnance returning from recently deployed Strike Groups and/or for future planned or programmed Strike Groups .Specialized experience includes establishing and monitoring ordnance inventory/logistical management goals and milestones while resolving complex inventory management problems. I have experience delegating work to junior employees based on priorities and abilities of employee. Examples of specialized experience may include the following: 1) Supervise or lead a team of ammunition logisticians providing fleet support and services; 2) Conduct in-depth Ordnance Information System-Wholesale (OIS-W) training or a similar information system; 3) knowledge of integrated logistics support (ILS) concepts, programs and policies sufficient to ensure effective and efficient application to a variety of difficult and complex ILS project; 4) Make technical decisions relative to weapons interchangeability, weapon kill probabilities, and weapon selection criteria for non-nuclear ordnance items to include loading and assembly procedures.
