You will serve as a Supervisory Inventory Management Specialist in the Ammunition Management Office Pacific (AMMOPAC) branch of NAVSUP AMMO LOG CENT MECH.
Duties
You will provide guidance to AMMOPAC personnel assuring the integration of supply technical functions that comprise the inventory management, material movement management, and material coordination and control functions assigned to NALC AMMOPAC.
You will work with NALC Supply Chain Execution (SCE) Branch person to establish inventory management goals and milestones and defines inventory management support planning parameters.
You will research and evaluate alternative courses of action to achieve selected objectives relative to movement of ordnance for future planned or programmed CV/CVN Battle Groups
You will analyze outputs of other information systems and access their data as
required, as is extensive knowledge of and experience in Navy ordnance stockpile management.
You will plan, organize, supervise and directs the work of subordinate staff.
You will be responsible for the efficient, effective and responsive accomplishment of the AMMOPAC/AMMOLANT goals and objectives of the NALC Division/Ordnance Supply Chain Execution Branch.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates a mastery knowledge of the principles and requirements of ordnance technical functions related to inventory management of hazardous and explosive materials, supply chain management, and assessment techniques related to ordnance stockpile to include non-nuclear ordnance experience at a supervisory or leadership level. Specialized experience includes establishing and monitoring ordnance inventory/logistical management goals and milestones while resolving complex inventory management problems and developing strategies or assisting with advance planning and coordination to ensure cost effective movement, opportune lift, and delivery of the right ordnance to the right customer at the right time. Examples of specialized experience may include the following: 1) Supervise or lead a team of ammunition logisticians providing fleet support and services; 2) Conduct in-depth Ordnance Information System-Wholesale (OIS-W) training or a similar information system; 3) Develop and utilize non-combat expenditure allocations (NCEA), allowances, and load plans; 4) Make technical decisions relative to weapons interchangeability, weapon kill probabilities, and weapon selection criteria for non-nuclear ordnance items to include loading and assembly procedures.
