You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Weapons Control & Integration Department of NAVSURFWARCENDLD.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $153,354).
Duties
You will serve as a Contracting Officers Representative for Battle Management System and perform duties to ensure the proper execution of contracts.
You will provide day-to-day contract support to include communication with Contracting Officers, Contractors, Government Technical Point of Contacts, and Sponsors as needed.
You will provide proper and appropriate oversight of Contractor performance and contract execution to ensure financial and technical compliance with the contract terms and conditions.
You will review contractor invoices and coordinate with project personnel to ensure invoice accuracy and awareness of contract funding.
You will develop and deliver timely monthly contract reporting.
You will notify the Contracting Officer of any performance issues and take corrective action as appropriate.
You will document Contractor performance on a monthly basis and submits an annual assessment in the Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) when/if required.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalency), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Ensuring contract execution to monitor performance, review invoices, address issues, document evaluations and provide monthly reports for the enhancement or optimization of a naval team, division, or program.
