You will serve as a Program Analyst in the AEGIS Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Program Office, AB Acquisition Directorate (ABA) of AEGIS BMD.
Duties
You will provide Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) full-time acquisition and contracts management support in the AB Acquisition Directorate (ABA).
You will develop and adapt acquisition strategies and plans, conduct analysis related to acquisition, and coordinate with the acquisition team, including financial, technical and contractual personnel.
You will ensure compliance with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and MDA/AB acquisition policy.
You will coordinate across Aegis BMD, with MDA, and Navy Commands/Agencies to identify and resolve acquisition related issues.
You will develop and review technical requirements to ensure alignment with MDA and MDA/AB acquisition policy in Request for Proposal (RFP) packages, MiDAESS Task Orders, and SEATASKs.
You will develop and maintain planning and communication tools to apprise Aegis BMD of key acquisition activities and issues.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing acquisition strategies to improve the effectiveness or efficiency of a weapons program.
