About the Position: Incumbent serves as the Logistics Program Manager, responsible to develop and direct an effective and efficient logistics management operation to maintain the directorate's readiness to complete the Directorate of Emergency Services' mission.

Duties

Serve as the Logistics Program Manager, responsible to develop and direct an effective and efficient logistics management operation to maintain the directorate’s readiness to complete the Directorate of Emergency Services' mission. Conduct studies to analyze mission objectives, policies, work operations and progress, resources estimates and usage of any other associated aspects of operating programs. Analyze the Directorate of Emergency Services logistics readiness posture in terms of equipment status, supply support capabilities, and regulatory policy and guidance necessary to achieve the highest level of readiness. Provide input to the Division Chief, Operations Officer, and Director in the management of the directorate budget. Serve as Directorate’s Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the assigned Global Combat Sustainment System (GCCS) Army automation system. Direct the implementation of the automated system; reviews, analyzes, and evaluates operating system for control of data flow and reports; Provide technical guidance and oversite to the Sub-Hand Receipt Holders on the proper management of property and the procedures for processing Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL) items.

• Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret (Tier 3) Security Clearance.
• Position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18.
