About the Position: Serves as a Operations Specialist (Special Programs) for the US Army Special Operations Command at Fort Liberty, NC

Duties

Interprets basic guidelines and directives and adapts to achieve assigned mission. Supervises Federal civilian, uniformed military, and contracted subordinates. Develops programs for special activities and operational support Establishes and maintains effective coordination with operating officials of other command elements on matters of mutual concern or requiring coordinated effort.

Maintains liaison relationship with the interagency, to include components of the Intelligence Community, and higher HQ 3.) Coordinates, staffs, and manages classified requirements for Geographic Combatant Commands (GCCs) and Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs).4.) Responsible for implementation of special projects and the operations of a special operations cell with the Division. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next/second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
