Duties
Serves as the DLA Energy Real Property Officer/Accountable Property Officer at assigned Defense Fuel Support Points (DFSPs).
Responsible to oversee, update, and maintain Real Property and General Equipment property accounts.
Serves as the Military Department (MilDep) point of contact for DLA Energy DFSP Real property and General Equipment.

... to the DLA Energy Facility Sustainment Director, Division, and Branch Chiefs on all aspects of property management.
Provides technical guidance and recommendations to the MilDep and the Service Control Points (SCPs) on property management based on OSD, MilDep, and DLA policy. Contacts may include Federal, Foreign, and private sector.
Maintains complete and current knowledge of all applicable Federal, DOD, DLA and relevant MilDep-specific regulations.
Conducts surveys, inspections, and inventories to maintain audit compliance and notifies leadership of detected deficiencies and prescribes corrective action.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Logistics Management Specialist, GS-0346-12 your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after- competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Performing logistics management operations such as real property accountability and inventory management,
Conducting surveys and studies on operating programs to determine proper application of agency policies.
Knowledge of fuels infrastructure, design, and operation.
B. Education Substitution: Education cannot be used in lieu of specialized experience.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
