You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (DATAMGT) in the Digital Networks and Applications Department (DNA), Digital Analytics infrastructure and Technology Advancement (DAiTA) Group) of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will provide leadership for the establishment and maintenance of Command-wide current, migration and target data standards and architectures.
You will Represents NAVAIR in discussions on data architecture goals and parameters with peers associated with other partners to define common understanding
You will exercise full management authority over all aspects of data administration.
You will provide technological expertise to support development and implementation of data management initiatives.
You will perform program and resources management responsibilities to ensure that adequate assets are allocated to the data management element of the DNA program.
You will generate and provide the division with budgetary inputs regarding projected requirements for data management functions and program.
You will perform other related duties as assigned, including reviewing technical literature and participating in working groups and symposia with professional peers in government, industry and academia

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13/14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Analyzes computer systems requests and determines feasibility/applicability of usage of database management systems software/hardware. 2.) Develops systems specifications, database management software and system hardware configuration, designs system hardware/software network structure. 3.) Oversees and/or performs the design and writing of programs/Database Management Systems (DBMS) interfaces, testing, documentation, implementation, and user training. 4.) Provides continuing analysis and design review to determine possible software/hardware optimization modifications, to determine appropriateness of the system in meeting user requirements, to improve user training and expand user base, and to ensure system stability.
