You will serve as a LEAD INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the Naval Aviation Red Team (AIR-RT) from the Cyber Resiliency Division of the Cyber Warfare Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Duties

You will identify cyber vulnerabilities and demonstrates their exploitability to Naval Aviation leadership. You will develop cyber toolsets and vulnerability research on various Naval Aviation systems. You will provide cost, schedule, and performance coordination and reporting for Research and Development efforts.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 803 level 1 within 12 months of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Leads a team that identifies cyber vulnerabilities and demonstrates their exploitability related to naval aircraft and related systems. 2.) Leads an Research and Development (R&D) component of a Red team. 3.) Providing cost, schedule, and performance coordination and reporting for Research and Development (R&D) efforts 4.) Leading a team that develops cyber toolsets.
