You will serve as a MUSICAL ACTIVITIES PROGRAM ASSISTANT in the MUSICAL ACTIVITIES DEPARTMENT of NAVAL ACADEMY.
Duties
You will assist the Musical Activities office in general office maintenance responsibilities to include answering phones, photocopying, sorting mail, filing, data entry and ordering office supplies for performances.
You will assist the Director of Musical Activities and primary ensemble directors by securing necessary rehearsal and performance materials and equipment and logistical requirements for activities at the Naval Academy and on the road.
You will tracks expenses and consumable usage to advise management for future budgeting and procurement needs.
You will receive visitors and telephone calls to the office, determine nature of requests and personally provide information desired or direct person to appropriate resources.
You will create, edit, and produce audio/video content for social media platforms.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Executing administrative office functions including logistics planning for travel (meals/ lodging/transportation);
Operating audio/visual equipment;
Using audio/visual editing programs;
Maintaining websites and social media platforms; and
Interpreting guidelines and regulations while communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
