About the Position: As the Supervisor Human Resources Specialist in the Civilian Human Resources Service Center (CHRSC), you will manage the integration, management, and supervision of Army wide recruitment, selection, and placement for a variety of occupations. Provide technical expertise in assigned areas of mission responsibility, providing technical advisory assistance to team members and serviced organizations throughout Department of Army.
Duties
Serve as Division Chief overseeing the delivery of civilian human resources management advisory services.
Provide guidance and render decisions on complex HR issues.
Organize, review and assign the work of the branch.
Identify and arrange developmental and other required team training.
Develop and apply team performance standards.
Assure customer inquiries are resolved promptly.
Maintain accuracy and timelines of work product to meet organization fill time goals and ensure quality customer service.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance, or access, for duration of employment.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
- This position requires Temporary Duty (TDY) travel up to 10% of the time.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
