You will serve as a TRAINING ADMINISTRATOR in the Marine Corps Communication-Electronics School of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.

Duties

You will ensure all training sections carry out the process in a uniform manner and are in accordance with current policy and directives. You will compile and analyze data, identifying trends in program achievements and student performance. You will prepare reports for the Ground Electronics Maintenance School (GEMS) Director that recommend courses of action to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of academic programs You will observe classroom and laboratory instruction on a regular basis to maintain first-hand knowledge of all Programs of Instruction (POIs). You will serve as the academic representative for the GEMS at meetings related to training both structured and unstructured, local and distant.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating and preparing recommendations on improving effectiveness of academic programs by analyzing data for trends in program and student performance; designing and developing training on new equipment; and providing input to problems as they apply to a training program. In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

or

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.M., if related
