You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST in the Marine Corps Tactics and Operations Group (MCTOG) of OFFICE OF THE COMMANDING GENERAL.

Duties
You will perform a variety of routine duties to support instructional system research, development, design, implementation, evaluation, and task analysis.
You will assist with screening, reviewing and providing analysis on the mission statements and core mission essential task of the Ground Combat Element units.
You will support and assist with training analysis projects and studies required to ensure the formulation and implementation of optimally effective training programs.
You will assist with the designing of objectives and outcomes of the war game or exercise.
You will provide support evaluation and assessment of the wargame/exercise participants.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Must be willing and able to perform temporary duty at locations other than my permanent duty station which may include travel by military or commercial aircraft/flights.
Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector developing and evaluating combat readiness training and education programs, conduct analytical research by utilizing surveys, field observations or interviews, AND providing statistical feedback and recommendations on the training program effectiveness.

Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- education or a subject area related to the position to be filled.

Experience
Specialized Experience: Experience that demonstrated a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include:
- Teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military installation, or industrial establishment in the appropriate field(s).
- Supervising or administering a training program.
- Development or review of training/course materials, aids, devices, etc., and evaluation of training results.
- Work in the occupation or subject-matter field of the position to be filled that required training or instructing others on a regular basis.
