You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER of the NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER.

Duties

You will guide management in effectively implementing planning efforts for current and future performance requirements. You will serve as a senior advisor to management and executive leadership on developing and implementing strategic plans in support of achieving the program objectives. You will plan and develops new processes or metrics, and coordinates with support activities that cross organizational lines. You will formulate, interpret, and communicate long-range and short-term goals, principles, policies, and objectives for delegated services and programs.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position is covered under Public Law 114-264, the Program Management Improvement Accountability Act (PMIAA).
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing expeditionary program management and acquisition strategies, goals, and objectives to address current and next-generation systems and materials; 2) Ensuring proper planning, programming, and budgeting supports inventory acquisition objectives;3) Ensuring DoD expeditionary programs meet execution goals and milestones related to expenditures, trends, and results; 4) Planning, coordinates, and oversees major initiatives.
