About the Position: This position is located with Reynolds Army Health Clinic in Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
Duties
Perform stock maintenance within the established warehouse locator plan.
Perform various cleaning tasks to include cleaning of storage shelves, refrigerator/freezer, sweeping floors and disposing of empty cartons and trash.
Assure items to be shipped/issued are properly marked.
Annotate the shipping document to reflect quantity received.
Perform quality control functions by rotating dated stock to minimize loss due to expiration.
Record the quantity of each item issued on the inventory listing.
Assemble stock according to type or designated area.
Follow established safety practices when operating equipment.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
- A pre-placement medical examination is required.
- Moderate to heavy lifting up to 70 pounds may be required.
- Must possess and maintain a valid stateside driver's license.
- This position may require rotating shifts (i.e. work schedule that requires employees to continuously rotate from one shift to another at predetermined intervals).
- This position may require the incumbent to work weekends and/or holidays.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Commercial Drivers License.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Forklift Operators Certificate.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Materials Handler (Motor Vehicle Operator/Forklift Operator) ~ without more than normal supervision. I have the ability to perform common Materials Handler (Motor Vehicle Operator/Forklift Operator) duties. I can utilize automated supply systems that maintain stock inventory and location information to determine item location and availability. I can handle the controls for starting, stopping, backing and driving a 1.5-to-4-ton capacity truck. I can utilize the appropriate skills required to safely load and unload vehicles. I work under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.

Physical Effort:
Stands, stoops, bends and works in tiring and uncomfortable positions. May be required to work at a rapid pace for prolonged periods. Frequently lifts and carries material weighing up to 70 pounds. Moderate physical effort is required to operate forklift hand and foot controls while driving, turning, starting and stopping during operation. Supply exchange carts are non-motorized and require a strenuous effort to push and pull to various delivery points.
Working Conditions:
Works inside and outside, in both well-lighted and dim lighted areas which are subject to heat, cold, damp, and drafty conditions. May work on open docks or in storage yards. Work may be dirty, dusty and greasy. Frequently exposed to the possibility of cuts, scrapes and bruises; falls from ladders; or injury from material handling and associated equipment. May be required to work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.
