About the Position: Serves as a Program Officer for various ACAT I, II and/or III programs within the Project/Product Managers (PM) Office and is delegated the authority and responsibility to ensure the integration of the various functional areas within the PMO.
Duties
Coordinates and develops procedures relating to financial management, acquisition, implementation, distribution, and logistical support for the hardware, software, supplies, and services required by the project in support of Foreign Military Sales.
Identifies CH-47 aircraft and the associated total package approach requirements necessary to meet foreign partner capability needs.
Assist in the preparation of Requests for Proposal, Statements of Work, Contract Data Requirements Lists, specifications, acquisition plans and evaluations plans.
Reviews input from team leaders for appropriateness of requests, availability of resources, and compatibility with the integrated logistics effort.
Perform contract administration by conducting contractor programs reviews, approving data items, waivers/deviations, and engineering change proposals.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
- Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at the Practitioner level in the Acquisition Career Field Program Management within 60 months of entrance on duty.
- The duties of this position require submission of, on an annual basis, OGE 450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report.
- Business travel required up to 25% of the time.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-03)/GS-13.
