About the Position: This position is located in U.S. Army Installation Management Command, IMCOM Directorate - Sustainment, Installation Support Team, responsible for active participation in providing effective management, direction, coordination, and synchronization of command functions within the headquarters and IMCOM Directorate Sustainment to deliver effective service to the garrisons and/or joint bases supported.
Duties
Establish relations that work through and in synchronization with leaders and staff at echelons above and below the Directorate.
Plan and implement installation management key functional program initiatives and procedures to enable effective delivery of directed core services to assigned installations.
Monitor and analyze Garrison performance in meeting goals, objectives, tasks, standards, and targets.
Teach, coach and mentor installation leadership teams (Commanders, Deputies, Directorate Chiefs, etc.)
Communicate senior leader intent and guidance to subordinate installation leaders and keeping senior leaders informed of progress, issues, challenges, and obstacles to successfully implementing senior leader intent.
Maintain awareness of and manage multiple, diversified issues/projects for multiple, diversified supported installations.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 25% of the time.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Managing and directing installation support services directly affecting the accomplishment of a multi-service operation and a complex multi-mission military installation. 2) Providing program direction, objectives, strategies and evaluations for the full range of installation support services including Public Works, Family Morale and Welfare and Recreation, Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security, Human Resources, Emergency Services, Information Management, Resource Management, Internal Review, Safety, and Logistics.
