This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Business & Technical Management Career Path (AcDemo only) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is a pay banded position. The NH-04 band encompasses grades 14 and 15 under the General Schedule (GS) system.

Duties

Performs analysis and assessment of special projects assigned to the Project Manager Aircraft Survivability Equipment (PM ASE). Plans, conducts, and directs highly complex studies/analyses to improve the total acquisition process. Develops, tracks, and analyzes Aviation/ASE metrics to include but no limited to cost, schedule and performance. Develops and presents detailed information which is readily understandable by and credible with Government and industry representatives.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
• One-year probationary period may be required.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top-Secret security clearance with sensitive compartmental information or access for the duration of employment.
• This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
• Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at Advanced in the Acquisition Career Field (Program Management) within 48 months of entrance on duty.
