Duties

You will define, lead and manage an administrative and technical program of IT services. You will be responsible for developing and executing an annual budget necessary to meet the Branche's objectives. You will be responsible for communicating complex designs and techniques orally and in writing to management, colleagues, and the general user community. You will continually evaluate appropriate state of the art technologies and solutions. You will plan, design and carry out the development of programs, projects and studies.

Qualifications

This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: This position requires a broad knowledge of client/server/cloud architectures for a range of operating platforms including Windows, Mac OS X, and various Linux and distributions along with a strong understanding of DOD Risk Management Framework implementation as well as experience in developing applications and services in both directory centric and cloud centric environments with specific knowledge of organizational Identity Management, public key infrastructure (PKI), LDAP and reduced sign-on methodologies. Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band (NO-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: 1.Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Interacting with customers to better understand their needs to develop and prioritize their project goals.. 3.Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Communicating complex designs and techniques orally and in writing to management, colleagues, and the general user community. 4.Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Recommending decisions which will significantly change or impact Command IT policies, programs and services.
