Duties

This position will allow you to use your expertise in managing and overseeing programs which have agency-wide and government-wide impact. This position starts at a salary of $104,356.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $135,667.00 (GS-13, Step 10). GS Salary: Visit this link to view the locality pay tables by geographic area. In this Program Manager position you will become a key member of a team of Homeland Security professionals managing a variety of agency-wide law enforcement programs. Typical work assignments include: Providing executive leadership in program management for lease administration programs which includes setting milestones and schedules, proper sequencing and management of space availability, process improvement analysis, and the methodology required to develop and substantiate a business case for selected projects. Planning, scheduling, implementing, and modifying the lease administration process. Liaising with Maintenance, Repair, and Operations efforts to service contract administration. Utilizing the automated real property program TRIRIGA to take corrective actions for the users, resolve data reporting errors, and identify complex existing or potential program issues to Program Management Office leadership while making recommendations for timely and executable plans for corrective actions. Developing and implementing building lease administration policies, procedures, and methods to ensure lease compliance and financial audit and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

Experience: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Reviewing, maintaining, and reconciling lease property management data and related lease management activities for federally owned and leased properties. Assisting in or having responsibility for implementing and monitoring maintenance, repair, and operations programs. Advising management and other stakeholders on the results and implications of facility related issues and making recommendations for process improvement. You must: Meet all qualification requirements, including education if applicable to this position, subject to verification at any stage of the application process; and Meet all applicable Time in Grade requirements (current federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the federal service) by 12/31/2024.
