You will serve as a Program Manager in the Indianapolis Weapons Control Support Equipment/ Aircraft Armament Equipment (WCSE/ AAE) Site Lead of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.

Duties

Advise managers and senior leaders on program or project financial and manpower resourcing and execution. Develop a budget submission for a program. Brief customers and managers on program status or updates. Determine solutions to program issues to facilitate meeting program objectives. Administer program finances, human capital resources, or technical components to meet program operational commitments

Requirements

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-05/GS-12/13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Leading multi-disciplined government and contractor Integrated Product Teams to plan, budget, and execute acquisition and sustainment efforts to include design, development, test, procurement, production, fielding, installation and in-service support of Weapons Control Support Equipment; 2) Coordinating and interfacing with appropriate Program Offices, NAVAIR and NAWCAD Departments, system commands, fleet representatives, and contractors to assure proper execution; 3) Leveraging knowledge of various types of contracts and contracting techniques for support of Weapons Control Support Equipment and related Aircraft Armament Equipment, and 4) Conducting site lead responsibilities for onsite Government workforce and coordinating related administrative requirements with the Branch Supervisor including workload planning, budgeting, training, NMCI requirements, etc., in support of the design, integration, and sustainment of Weapons Control Support Equipment and related Aircraft Armament Equipment.
