This position is part of the Deputy Administrator for Naval Reactors, Department of Energy. National Nuclear Security Administration Demonstration Project: This position is covered by the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Demonstration Project. The NQ-02 pay band is equivalent to the GS-9 to GS-12 grade level. Duties

As a Management Analyst, you will:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.

  • May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a "L" level Security Clearance.
  • Drug Testing - The position is covered under the DOE Drug-Free Workplace Order 343.1. The tentative selectee must test negative prior to final selection for this position and will be subject to random testing thereafter.

Qualifications

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band or grade level [NQ-01/GS-7 or equivalent] in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Demonstrated knowledge of human capital management laws, policies, procedures pertaining to leave administration, pay administration and workforce relations programs. (OR) Completion of a Masters Degree or two (2) years of progressively higher graduate education in a related field. (OR) An equivalent combination of specialized experience and education.
