Duties
The physical worksite for this position is located in Alexandria, Virginia.This position is telework eligible per agency and business unit discretion/policy.

Qualifications
You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. You must meet all eligibility and qualifications requirements by the closing date of the job announcement. OPM Qualifications Standards are available at Information Technology (IT) Management Series 2210 (Alternative A).
Specialized Experienceis experience that has equipped applicants with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, the next lower grade level is a GS-12.
Specialized experience for this GS-13 position includes:
1. Experience in configuring, deploying, monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting cloud-based solutions, such as Microsoft Azure, for Desktop as a Service (DaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
2. Experience ensuring solutions adhere to security best practices with cloud technologies, utilizing products such as, but not limited to Microsoft Intune Suite, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Policy, Azure Managed Applications, and Automation.
3. Experience working with stakeholders and consultants for installations, deployments, and troubleshooting of releases, evaluating new operating system releases, assessing capabilities and providing recommendations on optimization and usage.
4. Experience providing authoritative technical resolution for problems with existing VDI environment and related systems, and performs research to correct problems and inefficiencies or to enhance services.
The incumbent must possess the following Information Technology related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:

At the GS-13 grade level, no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
