In addition to the Washington, DC, headquarters, OIG has offices located in more than 60 locations throughout the country.
Duties
This position is located in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Inspector General (OIG), Office of Public Affairs & Communications. The incumbent is responsible for supervising a team of communications professionals and is expected to assist and oversee all editing and writing for the Immediate OIG including reports, reviews, communications materials, and other work products.

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience or General experience for this position includes:
Advising other writers on subject matter or as an editor; AND
Preparing or finalizing documents/content to provide official information on behalf of an organization; AND
Ensuring coordination of all timely document/content submissions.
