You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the Information Technology (IT) Directorate of the Marine Corps University/Education Command.
Duties
You will analyze production data to assist in decision making.
You will be responsible for pulling, compiling and updating briefing charts for Information Technology Directorate from various sources.
You will develop and make recommendations of methods of improvement; new or modified methods, organizational structures, records and files, management processes, staffing patterns, procedures for administering program services.
You will provide a full range of advisory/analytical services at all levels of the depot programs and
administrative management involving various initiatives.
You will assist lower grade analysts in the application of appropriate problem solving
methods and techniques, provide advice on work methods, practices and procedures, and
assist the team and/or individual members.
You will prepare reports and maintains records of work accomplishments and administrative information, as required, and coordinates the preparation, presentation and communication of work-related information to the supervisor.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing assistance to management to establish performance standards, collecting and evaluating personnel manpower data, and overseeing performance management programs.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Utilizing analytical tools in the development and evaluation of manpower data, resolving technical personnel issuse, and providing guidance mangement inquiries.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-11
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
LL.M., if related
GS-09
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
