You will serve as a Program Analyst in the SEA 21/ PMS321 Program Office of NAVSEA HQ FIELD SUPPORT.
Duties
You will locally manage and coordinate all aspects of the PMS 321 Program Manager Rep (PMR) Program within the San Diego, CA area.
You will acts as the liaison for PEO Ships and supports the established infrastructure for all In-Service Ship
You will manage all locally scheduled In-Service Ship Modernization upgrades, CNO Availabilities and initiate engineering investigations as required.
You will ensure Life Cycle and Ship Class-wide issues in support of possible alterations development/Ship Class advisories, under the auspices of PEO Ships.
You will maintain a close working relationship with Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC), to facilitate strong communication between the waterfront community
You will will attend meetings conferences when required, representing PMS 321.
You will will provide weekly summaries of ongoing Ship Availabilities and Ship Modernization upgrades to PMS 321.
Youi will plan, organize, and direct work to be accomplished, setting priorities and preparing schedules for the completion of assigned tasks.
You will ensure the timeliness and quality of work, accepting, amending, or directing resubmission for completed assignments.
You will evaluate the complexity of work involved in individual projects, and assigns and directs work, taking into account the unique capabilities of assigned personnel.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is in the Security Cooperation Case Life Cycle Management Area of Concentration (AoC) that requires INTERMEDIATE level certification. Failure to obtain and maintain this certification within the required time may have adverse actions.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay plan (NH-3) or grade level (GS-13) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting strategic planning, administrative management, and/or analytical studies to support ship or defense system acquisition programs.
