Duties
You will serve as the Lead Business Financial Manager (BFM) in support of the PMW 770 Undersea Integration program office within PEO C4I
You will demonstrate leadership abilities in the coordination and formulation of complete and accurate financial documentation consistent with program plans.
You will provide business and financial management support, program evaluation and management expertise to the Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager, Division Leads, Assistant Program Managers, and the DPEO Manpower and Budget.
You will prepare, oversee, and support preparation of business portions of program acquisition documentation and demonstrate knowledge of various standard program analysis processes.
You will ensure tasks executed are in accordance with appropriations guidelines and program stays within controls.
You will implement internal reviews in order to provide management with a current and comprehensive evaluation.
You will initiate special studies as required to research and respond to various fiscal management challenges.
You will support the Program Management Office (PMW) regarding all Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPB/E) activities.
You will develop budget estimates and provide Plan of Action and Milestones guidance to Program Managers
You will implement the use of Command Global Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) as a common business practice.
You will review and release program financial documents, including contract agreements and task statements and ensure tasks executed are in accordance with appropriation guidelines and program stays within controls.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Generally, current federal employees applying for APS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade. Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
